Mets' Jay Bruce exits game due to back tightness
New York Mets outfielder Jay Bruce left Tuesday's game against the San Diego Padres due to back tightness.
Bruce left in the sixth inning and was replaced in the field and the lineup by Juan Lagares. Bruce was 1-for-3 with one run scored and two strikeouts before being forced to leave. Consider him day-to-day.
Bruce is batting .250 with a .358 wOBA, 11 home runs, and 30 RBI's in 181 plate appearances this season.
