Giants say Hunter Pence (hamstring) still a week away from return
San Francisco Giants outfielder Hunter Pence (hamstring) is likely still another week away from returning, manager Bruce Bochy said Monday.
Pence hasn't played since May 12 but he progressed to some running drills as he works his way towards a return. It remains unknown whether a rehab assignment will be necessary.
In 149 plate appearances (37 games) this season, Pence is batting only .243 with a .274 wOBA and three home runs.
