Royals' Salvador Perez goes yard three times in Sunday's doubleheader
Kansas City Royals catchers Salvador Perez went yard twice, but it wasn't enough as the Royals dropped the nightcap of Sunday's doubleheader against the Minnesota Twins.
It was a huge day for Perez, who also launched a longball in the first of the two games on Sunday. He finished the nightcap 2-for-4 from the dish, and he's up to 11 home runs and 28 RBI's in 2017.
Perez has had a strong year from the dish so far, slashing .280/.321/.547 with a .362 wOBA through 162 plate appearances.
