Ian Kennedy (hamstring) poised to start for Kansas City on Saturday
The Kansas City Royals will activate and start pitcher Ian Kennedy (hamstring) Saturday versus the Minnesota Twins, per Rustin Dodd of the Kansas City Star.
Kennedy left his May 4 start early with hamstring tightness and has been on the DL ever since. After two weeks off, he feels ready to go and will make his seventh start of the year versus the Twins.
Kennedy is 0-3 this year with a 4.87 xFIP and 15 walks in 35 2/3 innings pitched this season.
