Brewers considering sending Ryan Braun (calf) to the disabled list
Milwaukee Brewers outfielder Ryan Braun (calf) is unlikely to play on Friday after the club upgraded his injury to a calf strain.
The Brewers originally stated Braun missed Thursday's game due to calf tightness, but now it seems the injury is much more severe, with a disabled list stint becoming an option. He should be considered day-to-day for now.
Braun has played well when his body has allowed him to as he owns a .287 average and a .400 wOBA with seven home runs, 18 RBI's and four stolen bases in 107 plate appearances this season.
