Jose Urena starting in place of Edinson Volquez on Sunday for Miami
The Miami Marlins will have relief pitcher Jose Urena make a spot start in place of Edinson Volquez on Sunday.
Volquez is expected to miss just the one start due to a blister on his hand. The 25-year-old Urena has primarily been used out of the bullpen in his three-year career but does have 21 big league starts under his belt.
Urena has tossed 15 /3 innings with a 2.35 ERA, 1.37 WHIP, and 12.3 strikeout percentage in six appearances this season.
