Ian Kennedy (hamstring) lands on the Royals' disabled list
The Kansas City Royals have placed pitcher Ian Kennedy on the 10-day disabled list with a strained right hamstring.
The injury forced Kennedy out of Thursday's start, and there's still no word on how long he may be sidelined.
While Kennedy has a solid 3.03 ERA this season, he also has an underwhelming 4.49 SIERA to go with a 21.8 percent strikeout rate and 10.6 percent walk rate through six starts (35 2/3 innings).
