Kansas City Royals pitcher Ian Kennedy allowed five runs (four earned) over 4 1/3 innings in his start against the Chicago White Sox on Thursday.
Kennedy was accompanied by a trainer when he left the game in the top of the fifth inning, and we should have an update on his potential injury later in the day.
On the season, Kennedy is now twirling a 3.03 ERA and 21.8 strikeout percentage over 35 2/3 innings.
