Dallas Keuchel dominant again as Astros defeat A's
Houston Astros starting pitcher Dallas Keuchel tossed 7 2/3 innings of one-run ball in a 7-2 victory over the Oakland Athletics on Sunday.
Keuchel gave up just three hits and two walks while striking out nine. He made through seven innings without giving up a run but left in the eighth inning after giving up an RBI single. The 2015 CY Young Award winner won his league-leading fifth game and will look to continue his hot start later this week against the Los Angeles Angels.
Keuchel owns a 5-0 record with 1.21 ERA, 0.84 WHIP, .164 opponents' batting average and 36 strikeouts in 44 2/3 innings pitched this season.
