Dee Gordon getting a breather as Marlins face the Pirates
The Miami Marlins are giving second baseman Dee Gordon the night off as they face the Pittsburgh Pirates on Friday.
What It Means:
Friday is just a routine day off for Gordon as the Marlins will have Derek Dietrich fill in at second base and bat seventh. Catcher J.T. Realmuto is in the leadoff spot versus Jameson Taillon and the Pirates.
Gordon owns a .290 wOBA with 13 runs scored and four stolen bases in 92 plate appearances this season.
