Indians giving Michael Brantley Friday night off
Cleveland Indians outfielder Michael Brantley is out of the lineup Friday versus the Seattle Mariners.
Brantley is getting a routine day off as Cleveland continues to give the outfielder some extra rest due to the shoulder troubles he has had the past year-plus. Brandon Guyer is in left field and batting third versus Ariel Miranda and the Mariners on Friday.
Brantley is off to a hot start, batting .300/.364/.529 with 4 home runs, 15 RBI's, 11 runs scored and 3 stolen bases in 77 plate appearances this season.
