Tigers' Miguel Cabrera (groin) runs, takes batting practice Friday

Detroit Tigers first baseman Miguel Cabrera (groin) ran and took batting practice Friday.

What It Means:

Barring a setback, Cabrera should be good to go on Tuesday when he's first eligible. It's just the second time in his career that the slugger has been on the disabled list.

numberFire's algorithms project Cabrera for 29 more home runs, 84 runs, 98 RBI's, a 17.6 percent strikeout rate, and a .316 batting average in 579 more plate appearances this year.
