George Springer and Jose Altuve return to Astros' lineup
Houston Astros outfielder George Springer (hamstring) and second baseman Jose Altuve (shoulder) are back in the lineup on Friday.
Springer made one pinch-hit appearance in the last week due to a hamstring strain, and Altuve didn't start the last two games after hurting his shoulder in a collision on Tuesday. Both appear good to go as they are back in their usual spots in the order on Friday as they face Jharel Cotton and the Oakland Athletics on Friday.
Springer is batting only .213 but has seven home runs in 83 plate appearances while Altuve is slashing .321/.393/.443 with seven steals in 89 plate appearances.
