Mariners' Nelson Cruz scratched from lineup with hamstring cramp
Seattle Mariners' outfielder/designated hitter Nelson Cruz was scratched from Friday's lineup with a cramp in his hamstring.
Cruz has played in all 23 of Seattle's games so far and if the injury is truly a cramp and not a strain or something worse, expect the Mariners to have the cleanup hitter back in the lineup at some point this weekend against the Cleveland Indians. Taylor Motter is in the cleanup spot Friday with Dan Vogelbach filling in as the designated hitter.
Cruz is batting .305/.400/.561 with 5 home runs, 19 RBI's and 12 runs scored in 100 plate appearances this year.
