Brandon Drury (knee) sitting out Thursday's game for Arizona
Arizona Diamondbacks second baseman Brandon Drury (knee) is not in the lineup on Thursday versus the San Diego Padres.
Drury banged his knee in a collision with Padres pitcher Trevor Cahill on Wednesday and is getting the night off to rest. The injury is nothing more than a bruise, so consider the infielder day-to-day. Chris Owings is playing at second and batting seventh on Thursday.
Drury has batted .310/.372/.394 with seven runs scored and seven RBI's in 78 plate appearances this season.
