Philadelphia Phillies second baseman Cesar Hernandez is not in the lineup for Thursday's afternoon game against the Miami Marlins.
What It Means:
It's just a rest day for Hernandez, and Andres Blanco will start at second base while Daniel Nava moves into the leadoff spot against right-hander Edinson Volquez and the Marlins.
Hernandez has had a very strong start to the season, slashing .321/.360/.536 with a .384 wOBA through 89 plate appearances.
