Dustin Pedroia (knee, ankle) out of the Red Sox lineup against the Yankees
Boston Red Sox second baseman Dustin Pedroia (knee, ankle) is out of the lineup again as the Red Sox host the New York Yankees on Wednesday.
Pedroia has been sidelined since Friday. He is said to just be dealing with soreness right now, but he'll remain out of the lineup in what is forecasted to be a rainy game in Boston on Wednesday.
Pedroia has been off to a slow start this season, slashing .258/.329/.274 with a .269 wOBA through 70 plate appearances.
