Joc Pederson (groin) lands on Dodgers' 10-day DL
The Los Angeles Dodgers placed outfielder Joc Pederson on the 10-day disabled list with a right groin strain.
Pederson hurt himself lunging for first base as he tried to beat out a grounder in Sunday's game. There is no timetable for his return. Enrique Hernandez is starting in center on Monday and figures to get the bulk of the starts. The Dodgers also recalled Brett Eibner, who can fill in as well, while Pederson is out.
Pederson was hitting .220/.322/.340 with one home run, seven RBI's and six runs scored in 59 plate appearances this season.
