Julio Urias to start for the Dodgers on Thursday
Los Angeles Dodgers starting pitcher Julio Urias will be recalled to start Thursday against the San Francisco Giants, reports J.P. Hoornstra of the Southern California News Group.
The Dodgers had expected to call up Urias soon, but now we know for sure that the 20-year-old will make his season debut on Thursday. While there may be an innings cap on the young southpaw, he makes for a superb pickup in all fantasy leagues as he has sky-high potential. Kenta Maeda will be bumped back and make his next start on Friday.
Urias owns a 1.93 ERA and a 1.21 WHIP with 15 strikeouts in 14 innings pitched in Triple-A this season.
