Joc Pederson (groin) absent from Dodgers' lineup Monday
Los Angeles Dodgers outfielder Joc Pederson (groin) is not in the lineup Monday against the San Francisco Giants.
Enrique Hernandez will start in center field and hit eighth against right-hander Matt Cain and the Giants. Pederson injured his right groin on Sunday but it encouraging that he hasn't been placed on the disabled list.
Pederson is slashing .220/.322/.340 with a .296 wOBA while recording one home run and seven RBI's in 59 plate appearances.
