Padres move Travis Jankowski down to ninth in order against Atlanta
San Diego Padres outfielder Travis Jankowski is batting ninth against the Atlanta Braves on Monday night.
Jankowski has gone 4-for-33 to start the year, primarily out of the two-hole, so the Padres will try to mix things up Monday against southpaw Jaime Garcia and the Braves. Don't be surprised if the 25-year-old speedster is moved back up to the second spot versus right-handers.
Jankowski owns a .121/.275/.121 slash across 41 plate appearances this season while stealing two bases. He's struck out 13 times, giving Jankowski what is on pace to be a career-worst 31.7 strikeout percentage.
