Michael Brantley (shoulder) ramping things up for Indians

Cleveland Indians outfielder Michael Brantley (shoulder) is scheduled to play in three straight Cactus League games beginning on Tuesday.

What It Means:

This should be the final test to determine whether or not Brantley will be available on Opening Day. Things have gone well as Brantley continues to ramp things up in his recovery from shoulder surgery, but he's had problems in the past when playing multiple games in a row. The 25-year-old outfielder is most likely going to be rested frequently early on in the year, regardless of his status coming out of camp.

numberFire's algorithms currently project Brantley to hit .290 across 451 plate appearances this upcoming season while recording 12 home runs, 62 RBI's and 10 stolen bases.
