Oakland names Kendall Graveman as starter for Opening Day
Oakland Athletics pitcher Kendall Graveman has been named the team's Opening Day starter.
The Athletics' full rotation hasn't been fleshed out yet, though it has also been announced that Sean Manaea and Jharel Cotton will start the A's second and third games of the year, with the fourth and fifth spots in the rotation still to be determined.
numberFire's models project Graveman to post a 4.19 ERA, a 1.40 WHIP and a 15.2 percent strikeout rate over 172 innings this season.
