Rockies' David Dahl out a week or two with back injury
Colorado Rockies outfield David Dahl (back) will miss at least the next week or two with back soreness, according to ESPN.
Initially believed to be out just a few days, manager Bud Black now says the 22-year-old outfield will be out at least a week or two but that Dahl doesn't have an official timetable for a return. He will undergo scans and tests on his back soon to find out what is going on. Dahl is battling Gerardo Parra for the Rockies' starting left field position.
Dahl had a great start to his career last season as he batted .315 with 7 home runs, 24 runs batted in, and 5 steals in just 222 at bats in 2016.
