Orioles agree to deal with Dodgers, acquire southpaw Vidal Nuno
The Baltimore Orioles acquired left-handed pitcher Vidal Nuno from the Los Angeles Dodgers for right-hander Ryan Moseley.
Nuno was acquired by the Dodgers from the Seattle Mariners in November, but he will now be traded for the fourth time in the past three years. The 29-year-old left-hander will provide valuable bullpen depth for the Orioles and could also compete for a spot in the Opening Day rotation.
Nuno worked primarily out of the bullpen for the Mariners last season, and he recorded a 3.53 ERA, 1.33 WHIP and 20.7 strikeout percentage across 58 2/3 innings (one start).
