Cubs' Kyle Schwarber not medically cleared to play in outfield
Chicago Cubs president Theo Epstein said Thursday afternoon that outfielder Kyle Schwarber is not medically cleared to play left field.
The debate on whether Schwarber should be on the World Series roster was silenced in Game 2, but he is going to be limited to pinch hitting while the series shifts to Chicago. If it gets back to Cleveland, expect Schwarber to be back as the Cubs' designated hitter.
With the Game 2 win, our models once again have the Cubs as favorites, with a 62.7 percent chance of winning the World Series.
