Corey Kluber to start World Series Game 1 for Cleveland
Cleveland Indians pitcher Corey Kluber has been officially announced as the team's starting pitcher for the World Series Game 1 against the Chicago Cubs.
This was the expected move, as Kluber will have had a full week off since his last start, when he allowed two runs in a loss to the Toronto Blue Jays.
Kluber owns a 0.98 ERA in his three starts this postseason (18 1/3 innings). Our models have Cleveland as underdogs for the World Series, giving them only a 36.6 percent chance of upsetting the Cubs.
