Cubs' Anthony Rizzo homers in Game 4 victory
Chicago Cubs first baseman Anthony Rizzo had a solo home run and a two-RBI single as part of a 3-for-5 day from the dish Wednesday as the Cubs tied the National League Championship Series at 2-2 with a 10-2 win over the Los Angeles Dodgers.
Like most of the Cubs, Rizzo's bat had been quiet through the first three games of the series -- managing only one hit in 11 at-bats. The runs didn't prove particularly crucial -- the homer boosted the Cubs' lead to 5-0 and the RBI single made the game 8-2 -- but it was an encouraging day all around for the Cubs' offense.
With the win our models now give the Cubs a 38.8 percent chance of winning the World Series -- the second-best mark among the three remaining teams.
