Giants have Eduardo Nunez (hamstring) on NLDS roster
San Francisco Giants infielder Eduardo Nunez (hamstring) is on the club's National League Divisional Series roster.
Nunez won't be ready to start in Game 1 on Friday, but the Giants are confident that he'll be able to contribute at some point in the best-of-seven series. Conor Gillaspie is expected to start at third on Friday versus Jon Lester and the Chicago Cubs. Ty Blach is also replacing Steven Okert for the Giants in the NLDS.
Nunez slashed .288/.325/.432 through 595 plate appearances for both the Giants and Minnesota Twins in the regular season, with a .323 wOBA and .145 ISO. He added 16 home runs and 67 RBI's with 40 stolen bases.
