Shin-Soo Choo returns from stint on Rangers' disabled list
Texas Rangers outfielder Shin-Soo Choo was activated from the 15-day disabled list.
Choo was thought to be done for the year after fracturing his left forearm in the middle of August, but he's back in action for the final series. Nomar Mazara will be on the bench while Choo starts in right field and hits seventh. Carlos Gomez is leading things off for Texas.
Choo was solid in limited action prior to the injury, slashing .247/.369/.416 to go with a .346 wOBA, seven home runs and six stolen bases in 198 plate appearances.
