Cleveland hopes for Corey Kluber (quad) to start Game 1 or 2 of ALDS
The goal is for Cleveland Indians Pitcher Corey Kluber (quad) start in either Game 1 or 2 of the ALDS, according to pitching coach Mickey Callaway.
Kluber left Monday's game early with a mild quad strain, and while he has already started throwing again, he won't make an appearance for the rest of the regular season.
While it is his worst mark since 2012, Kluber's 3.50 SIERA on the year is still solid, and he also has a 26.4 percent strikeout rate through 32 starts (215 innings).
