Gregory Polanco out of Pirates' lineup with neck issue
Pittsburgh Pirates outfielder Gregory Polanco is not in the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Chicago Cubs due to a stiff neck.
The stiffness in Polanco's neck is likely the result of him colliding with the outfield wall on Friday. Matt Joyce is replacing him in left and hitting fourth for the Pirates.
The 24-year-old Polanco is having a career year from the dish during his third year in the majors, slashing .262/.325/.471 with a .335 wOBA and .209 ISO through 574 plate appearances.
