Giants list Brandon Crawford (finger) as day-to-day
San Francisco Giants shortstop Brandon Crawford is considered day-to-day following negative X-rays on his dislocated left pinkie finger.
Manager Bruce Bochy said he expects Ehire Adrianza to fill in at shortstop over the next couple of days. Crawford injured the finger on his glove hand while sliding into third base against the Los Angeles Dodgers Tuesday night. There are only 11 games remaining in the regular season, but it sounds like Crawford and the Giants avoided any severe damage.
Crawford is slashing .268/.334/.424 with a .320 wOBA this season. He's slugged 12 dingers and batted in 80 scores through 592 appearances at the plate.
