Pablo Sandoval (wrist) remains out of lineup Saturday
Pablo Sandoval will miss his second straight game after getting hit on his wrist by a pitch. Travis Shaw, who was just called up from Triple-A, will play third base and bat sixth against the Rays.
Sandoval has been disappointing Red Sox nation this year with his -0.25 nERD, which puts him below a league-average hitter. That's not what the Red Sox were expecting when they inked the 2012 World Series MVP. Shaw is hitting .249/.318/.356 with a .315 wOBA in Triple-A this year. Our projections have him ranked above only one other third baseman on the day in terms of fantasy points.
