Giants not starting Hunter Pence (hamstring) against Atlanta
San Francisco Giants outfielder Hunter Pence (hamstring) is out of the lineup Friday versus the Atlanta Braves.
Pence was yanked from Thursday's contest with tightness in his right hamstring. It's unknown if he will have to return to the disabled list, or if he'll be able to get by day-to-day. Gorkys Hernandez is starting in right for San Francisco.
Pence is having a decent year from the dish, slashing .273/.341/.422 through 308 plate appearances, but his .330 wOBA is his lowest since 2012 and his .149 ISO is the lowest mark of his career.
