Michael Saunders available off bench for Toronto

Toronto Blue Jays outfielder Michael Saunders (hamstring) said that he felt much better on Friday and would be available off of the bench.

What It Means:

Tightness in his hamstring is keeping Saunders out of the lineup for the second straight contest, but it appears a return is nigh and that he could be used as a pinch-hitter. Despite not starting Friday night, Fantasy owners might want to opt to keep him active for the weekend.

Saunders is having a career year, slashing .266/.350/.500 with 21 home runs and a .361 wOBA across 472 plate appearances this season. We project him to hit five more taters and post a .792 OPS in 130 appearances at the plate over the rest of the season.
