Robinson Cano blasts go-ahead home run in Mariners' win
Seattle Mariners second baseman Robinson Cano blasted a three-run, go-ahead home run in the eighth inning on Tuesday, propelling the Mariners to a 5-4 win over the Boston Red Sox.
Cano had one hit on the day before stepping to the plate down 4-2 against Red Sox reliever Fernando Abad, taking him deep for what proved to be the decisive runs in the game.
Cano's .379 wOBA and .232 ISO are both his best marks since leaving the Yankees in 2013, and his 2.70 nERD ranks 16th in the majors.We project him to hit .294/.351/.493 with 9 home runs, 28 runs scored and 32 RBI's in 223 plate appearances over the remainder of the season.
