Trevor Story (thumb) not in Rockies' lineup on Sunday
Colorado Rockies shortstop Trevor Story (thumb) is not in the lineup Sunday.
A jammed left thumb forced Story to leave Saturday's contest, but X-rays fortunately came back clean. It appears a couple days of rest will be necessary, however. Cristhian Adames will man shortstop on Sunday, while Nolan Arenado will also replace Daniel Descalso at third.
Story has had a tremendous rookie year, hitting .272/.341/.567 with a .380 wOBA and .296 ISO in 415 plate appearances. His 27 home runs rank fourth in the bigs, while his 2.46 nERD is good for 24th.
