Mets, Brewers still discussing Jonathan Lucroy deal
Milwaukee Brewers catcher Jonathan Lucroy remains the focal point of trade discussions with the New York Mets, according to Ken Rosenthal of Fox Sports.
The Brewers have already turned down an underwhelming offer for Travis d'Arnaud, but maybe the Mets have strengthened their proposal. Rosenthal added that a deal involving Lucroy is not imminent, while the Houston Astros, Cleveland Indians, Boston Red Sox and Texas Rangers have expressed interest in the 30-year-old catcher.
The 30-year-old Lucroy is having a strong year, hitting .300/.361/.486 with a .360 wOBA in 371 plate appearances. His 1.66 nERD ranks 51st in the bigs.
