Rangers interested in Royals' Edinson Volquez
The Texas Rangers have shown interest in Kansas City Royals starting pitcher Edinson Volquez, per the Dallas Morning News' Evan Grant.
The Rangers are very clearly looking to add to their rotation, and have been showing interest in a handful of starters around the league.
Volquez is having a rough year, and while his 2.48 nERD ranks 27th in the majors, he has a shaky 4.50 SIERA that is his highest since 2009.
