Athletics' Kendall Graveman throws complete game Saturday
Oakland Athletics starting pitcher Kendall Graveman threw a complete game and limited the Tampa Bay Rays to three runs as the Athletics won in walk-off fashion 4-3 on Saturday.
It was only the second complete game of his career and first this season for Graveman. He allowed nine hits and walked only one batter and despite going nine innings he threw only 102 pitches. He added in four strikeouts for a solid performance against Tampa.
Graveman owns a 4.15 ERA and 1.38 WHIP across 110 2/3 innings this season. Our models project the A's righty to post a similar 4.19 ERA and 1.38 WHIP across 73 remaining innings this season.
