Orioles' Dylan Bundy goes five innings in Friday night win

Baltimore Orioles starting pitcher Dylan Bundy twirled five innings of one-run ball in a 5-1 win over the Cleveland Indians on Friday night.

What It Means:

Bundy picked up his first major league win on Friday, limiting the Indians to only five hits and one run. He also struck out five batters and didn't walk anyone during his time on the hill. While the team is bringing Bundy along slowly, Buck Showalter said before Friday's game that the team plans on keeping him in the rotation for the rest of the season.

Bundy owns a 3.30 ERA and 20 percent strikeout rate over 46 1/3 innings this season. Our models currently project him to regress some down the stretch with a 5.05 ERA and 17.70 strikeout rate across 30 1/3 innings remaining this season.
