Brandon Phillips starts for Reds on Tuesday
Cincinnati Reds second baseman Brandon Phillips (calf) is in Tuesday's lineup versus the Atlanta Braves.
Phillips tweaked his calf on Friday and sat out the rest of the weekend, but he returned to the lineup on Monday. He was later removed for a pinch-hitter, indicating that he's still not 100 percent. It seems that the remedy is to try to play through it for now.
Phillips is hitting .261/.299/.371 in 349 plate appearances this season. He has 6 home runs, 40 runs scored, and 34 RBI's to go with 5 stolen bases.
