Masahiro Tanaka strikes out seven in Yankees' win
New York Yankees pitcher Masahiro Tanaka allowed one run over six-innings as he struck out seven in a win over the Boston Red Sox on Sunday.
Tanaka has five-plus strikeouts in each of his last five starts, with three wins and no losses in that span.
Tanaka has a 3.80 SIERA and 20.10 percent strikeout rate this season, both the worst marks of his young career, but he still ranks 17th in the majors with a 2.61 nERD.
