Kevin Siegrist (mono) due back in Cardinals' bullpen Friday
St. Louis Cardinals pitcher Kevin Siegrist (mononucleosis) is expected to rejoin the bullpen on Friday.
Siegrist has been on the shelf with mono since the end of June. This update comes from general manager John Mozeliak, who spoke with reporters prior to Tuesday night's All-Star Game.
The 26-year-old left-hander owns a 2.78 ERA, 0.96 WHIP and 27.20 strikeout percentage across 32 1/3 innings (35 relief appearances) this season.
