Braves activate Gordon Beckham off the disabled list
The Atlanta Braves activated infielder Gordon Beckham from the 15-day disabled list.
A hamstring strain kept Beckham out for five weeks, but he's now healthy enough to return. He was hitting well before the injury, slashing .284/.382/.442 with a .361 wOBA in 110 plate appearances.
Beckham's .158 ISO this season would be the second highest mark of his career, although it's below the current league average (.162). Our models project him to hit .238/.310/.360, with four home runs and a .289 wOBA over the rest of the season.
