David Ortiz hits his third homer in two nights

David Ortiz went 2-for-5 with a two-run home run as the Red Sox lost to the White Sox in a slugfest 10-8. It was Ortiz's third home run in two nights.

What It Means:

Ortiz now has 20 home runs on the season. On July 1 he had a .313 wOBA and 13 home runs on the season. Since then his bat has come alive with a .443 wOBA and seven home runs. Our projections have him producing a .351 wOBA for the rest of the season which is solid for the 39 year-old slugger.
