Carlos Carrasco fans 14 in win for Cleveland
Cleveland Indians pitcher Carlos Carrasco put on an impressive performance in Toronto on Thursday, allowing one run over 7 1/3 innings while striking out a season-high 14.
This was the first time in 10 starts this season that Carrasco posted double-digit strikeouts, and marks the second highest strikeout total of his career.
He currently sits 157th in the majors with a 1.36 nERD, and this season marks a bit of a step back for him, with his 3.33 SIERA and 25.4 percent strikeout rate both being his worst since 2013.
