Jurickson Profar will play first base on Tuesday for Rangers
Texas Rangers infielder Jurickson Profar will likely play first base Tuesday against New York Yankees left-hander CC Sabathia, manager Jeff Banister said.
Profar was out of the lineup Monday for the eighth time in the past 11 games. Banister intends to have him play "three or four" times per week, but he clarified that this goal doesn't necessarily mean starts will be given to the young infielder. Profar continues to produce when he gets the opportunity, but the lack of playing time makes it difficult to rely on him in fantasy leagues right now.
For what it's worth, our algorithms project Profar to slash .279/.329/.388, with a wOBA of .306 for the rest of the season, but in just 141 more plate appearances.
