Yunel Escobar out of Angels' lineup Friday with knee injury
Los Angeles Angels infielder Yunel Escobar (knee) is not in Friday's lineup against the Oakland Athletics.
What It Means:
Escobar still isn't at 100 percent after a knee injury forced him out of Thursday's contest. Shane Robinson will be in left field, while Jefry Marte starts at the hot corner.
Escobar offers no power, but is slashing a solid .310/.359/.409 with three home runs and a .335 wOBA in 301 plate appearances this season. Our models currently project him to hit .292/.349/.389 with four home runs and a .321 wOBA over the remaining course of the season.
